I have just finished watching the HBO mini-series “John Adams.” It is an excellent depiction of President Adams and his times, which includes the characters of Washington, Jefferson, etc. In one episode, the building of the White House is featured and in another the interior from about 1800 – 1801, including the hanging of the First family’s laundry in the unfinished East Room. From what I can tell the White House sets are accurate for the time they are set in and fascinating. I commend the series to your attention and inclusion in your section on ‘The White House in Movies & TV.’ kind regards, Paul
