I’ve changed the front page to a nice photo of Obama walking thru a corridor in the West Wing with a gift-wrapped present. It’s by Pete Souza, of course, from back in October, but seems appropriately Christmasy.

Interesting that the wrapping paper is plain gold paper instead of the presidential seal style I have seen before.
An excellent choice my good man.
I see you adjusted the brightness. I agree, the photo was too dark.
Have a look at the Christmas decorations on this New York Times site. They’re the most elegant designs I’ve seen in years – very classy!!

Those green Room Christmas Trees in the windows look terrible.
What do you bet the gift-wrapped present is a framed photo of themselves?
The decoratios look like a pretty standard White House setup to me. I particularly like the trees in the State Dining Room though.
Rod, I would say a very good chance.
Looks like you need to fix the spelling. It should be “through”, not “thru”.
A new photo was added to the WH Photostream.

In this picture you can see another view of the hallway leading from the Oval Office toward the private study, bathroom and dining room.
