I’ve gotten multiple blog comments and several e-mails confidently guessing that it’s ER walking with JFK in a some of the new photos.
While I personally think its Eisenhower in disguise, returning to his lair, I’ll add some notation about ER later, but right now Dreamweaver has gone goofy and keeps crashing.* I’ll have to reinstall it this weekend (for those who don’t know: 90% of the time, I’m out of town 100% of the time).
Thank you for your patience.
* If only there were something that could help me to forget today’s pain, fly me high thru the starry skies, maybe to an astral plane.
It could be Richard Nixon in drag.
Miz Roosevelt was frail and home ridden in 1962 (dying in Nov.)
While its possible she made a valiant effort it would seem not probable with her bone TB and anemia (and hit by a car in 1960)
This is Eleanor Roosevelt. If it’s not, I’ll eat bees.
The date on the photos could be wrong. But here’s a pic of Eleanor and JFK showing her with the same thick hearing-aid temples for her glasses. I know these glasses, my grandad had them!
And consider that JFK WOULD meet Mrs. Roosevelt at her car and escort her to the Oval Office (if that’s what’s happening here). I imagine that he wouldn’t have done that for too many people. And also consider that the mere event of JFK’s escorting this lady was considered to be important enough for a photographer to record it.
