Visitor George sent a link to a nice article on the seating chart of the Press Briefing Room and how seats are managed. The WH Correspondents Association handles the seating, and Gibbs hasn’t been very good so far about fielding questions from beyond the fourth row, so the rivalry is heightened lately.
Overcrowded briefing room: good reason to remove the entire show to the auditorium in EEOB and uncovering the pool. I suspect the Obamas would make good use of it, especially the kids. Not to say deflating egos in the media who think it their right to virtually rub shoulders with the president.
