Virtual White House tour: meh

Someone called Henny X has produced a virtual White House for Sim games. I don’t know a lot about the Sim universe, but I can see that a lot of work went into creating the replica, but not a lot of research….

UPDATE: John’s link to JBK’s childhood home

UPDATE: Shane’s sim Octagonal Office

  1. Yeah… what you have to understand about the game though (being a player myself) is that it is a ‘life simulator’, not geared for building anything near reality. I can’t recreate my house properly with the game, let alone the White House.

I’ve tried it myself though (and I’d like to think I might have did okay on it), I don’t have video, but some pictures from the game here: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=236826

  2. Well knowing that’s the case that’s a very respectable effort there Shane!. Cheers.

BTW, your photobucket won’t load because you have your stuff set for private.

  3. Hey guys – yes, I still live – but I’ve been in the process of getting ready to move to Cincinnati later this summer (summer still has three months left in New Orleans…)and also have had a wicked sinus infection. (hack, sneeze, drip, wheeze…)

I have found a really cool site on the apartment building that Jacqueline Bouvier (Kennedy) grew up in on Park Avenue in New York. 740 Park Ave. I’ll see if I can copy and paste the link to it. Great floor plans and photos.

(John clicks away to the site… dee, dee, dum, dee, dee…)

    Here it is :http://www.mgross.com/books/740-park/

The building – still one of the fanciest in New York was built by Jackie’s developer grandfather, James T. Lee. and since it’s inception has been home to some of the very top names in New York society. Check it out!
